I want to thank the creator of this website for the incredible work that you are doing, making language studies more accessible to people. Keep up with this great work that you're doing.

At the bottom of a story, there would be a series of follow-up activities to reinforce what you learned. The main one would be a multiple choice comprehension quiz, where you have to select the right choices to prove you understood the story. (E.g. "In the beginning, the character [ goes to space / leaves home / finds a key ]".) You would have the option to do the quiz in your own language or the language you're learning.

In a simple version, Fabulang will identify important words in the story, such as the most difficult (unusual) verbs or nouns. These important words will become interactive. A click, mouse-hover (or similar) will display that word’s translation. In a more complex version, any word can be clicked to see what it means in context. This is not currently prioritised because such a feature is built in to many browsers, mobile phones and operating systems. Therefore, if you would like this feature, please explain how it would/should be better than any built in features.

For Dark Times. It's trendy. It's useful. Here is day time, so I have no idea how the site looks when the Sun sleeps. Maybe you already have a night mode.

As a first step, Fabulang will provide an analysis of which grammar concepts/tenses are used within the text of the story. As a second step, it would be possible to filter stories to find stories which include, or use a lot of, a particular tense. As part of this, you can also read more about that grammar concept.

Let us know if you would prefer longer stories. How long? Let us know in the comments. Currently our longest stories are around 650 words.

The user would be able to write what happens next in the target language, for writing practice.
