checked your “A1” story titled Un scénario brillant
A Brilliant Script in french and it doesn’t match CEFR A1 requirements. The text has vocabulary, structures, and narrative complexity that align more with A2–B1 level: multiple passé composé forms, complex connectors, indirect speech, literary narration, and advanced verbs like sursauter, applaudir, renverser, espionne, etc.
A1 learners are expected to handle short, simple present-tense sentences with basic vocabulary, which is not the case here. it is not appropriate for the level it is labeled as.

I understand that this is tricky and I do appreciate the translations which help. Thank you. Since I still find some of tge vocabulary challenging, then I would appreciate more practice at this level if that possibility exists. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge.

Thanks Karen. We'll continue trying to ensure that our A1 stories are as simple as possible, without becoming boring :).
Or would you like to have stories that are truly beginner level, and you don't mind if the story is not so interesting?

Fabulang Team: Either way is ok … the more stories I read, the better I will get. Already I can see an improvement in my word recognition skills and I a, enjoying the stories too … but I know there are limitations. Thank you for the work you have already done.

Thanks Thomas Müllee this is a valid comment.
We take into account that you are able to look at the translation. So the general sentence structures and tenses used are kept very simple at A1 level, but you may still need to check the translation for many words.
It's really hard to tell an interesting story using only the most basic words, so this is our compromise.
But we could try! So I will interpret this feature request as "make an even easier level (A0), or make A1 equal to that easier level".
